On behalf of the New Brunswick Competitive Festival of Music, I wanted to thank you for hosting our merry band of adjudicators over the past couple of years.

Adjudicators are very used to travelling to a town and stay in a hotel or motel and are often concerned when we tell them that they will not be staying in one...until we give them the brochures and they visit your website. Staying at your 71 Sydney treet property has been a joy!

The ability for me to have access to the rooms to prepare them for our guests and leave the necessities of milk, juice, water, bread, muffins, etc. for their arrival is a special touch that they appreciate and is definitely more than they would get at the hotel/motel anywhere else. To also be able house anywhere between 4 and 8 people all under the same roof at one time is spectacular, but the fact that you and your staff are even more accommodating and allow us to host our adjudicator meetings there as well has been beyond a blessing!

Oft times, the meetings with the board and adjudicators are in between classes or at the end of a long adjudication day when the last thing that they would like to do is go out some where, meet and then find their way home. This way, they can literally come down to the lounge or living room flop in a big, comfy chair and know that they only have to move again to get to bed!

Speaking of beds...I'm not sure what kind of mattresses you have but to quote one adjudicator, "The bed is divine!! The best sleep I've had in years!" and it is definitely something that I tell all adjudicators when they have questions about their rooms.

Thank you to Susan, Marilyn and all the staff at Chipman Hill for making what can be an onerous task manageable! You and your staff are so professional, accommodating and flexible! To say that we are now spoiled is an understatement!

I just wanted to write and say that out overnite stay was a wonderful . The suites were fabulous and beyond what we both expect.

Since I work with antiques ( I repair and restore for a living ) the grand staircase was a delight to see.

The stained glass windows were awesome. It was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfy I will recommend your establishment everytime I get the chance.

I stayed, I believe, at 71 Syndey Street in May of this year. I would like to reserve the two end suites 14 & 15. Private entrance. It was wonderful. Any chance that those two suites would be available for September 13, 14, and 15? I am bringing my mother to her home city of Saint John and I think those two suites would be ideal.

We've just gotten home to Pennsylvania and wanted to let you know that your suite at 195 Princess Street was the nicest place we stayed in all two weeks of our trip!

Hello Susan,

Thanks for your assistance at the Cliff Street property. We found the accommodations to be excellent and met our needs beautifully. My family were very happy and, in fact, my son and his wife now want a king size bed. They don't have room for a king size but they want one. The kids bought some breakfast supplies and cooked for themselves for Saturday and Sunday mornings and / or went to the local Tim Horton's . They hooked up their Play Station, watched movies, watched TV and generally had a great time.

The visit to Saint John was very successful and very enjoyable. Saint John is a great place. Thanks again for all of your help. You guys are unique in the "landlord" business as far as my experience goes; usually it's just about getting the lease signed and collecting the money. You guys take it to the next "personal" level which shows you care.

I am VERY happy with the unit I am leasing from Susan. And, I am AS happy with her (and her colleague, Marilyn's) professional and personal service. She's been super courteous and responsive to ALL of my requests, including helping me coordinate activities for my children when they came up for a visit from Houston, Texas recently. She also provided me a number of contacts (doctors, vet, churches, grocery stores, pharmacies, masseuse, hair stylist, restaurant references, etc.). She's an email "junkie" like me - never allowing a day (a day? more like an HOUR!) go by without answering a question I asked. The apartment I'm leasing is in a very nice location close to the heart of "uptown"; walking distance to a number of nice restaurants, shopping, and other activities. I'm very pleased with the decor in my apartment and the amenities (weekly housekeeping service, cable TV, wireless internet). You couldn't ask for better service, I don't believe you can go wrong in selecting Chipman Hill Suites.

I am overwhelmed by the glory of this Home. Thanks to those smart and brave people we are enjoying the beauty of their homes. And thanks to this City this is protected as the Historical Home. Toronto destroyed too much of the Heritage our grandparents left to us.

I cannot explain my feelings sitting in the "Sun Room" or sitting in those beautiful living rooms.

More than two years ago, I accepted a new position here in Saint John, New Brunswick. Coming from Montreal, Quebec, I did not know anyone here. I was soon the get a real taste of what is commonly referred to as that ‘eastern Canadian friendliness’!

Susan Fullerton, the founder and owner of Chipman Hill Suites, came highly recommended. Having moved around the country many times for my work, I expected a professional service that would enable me to find a new home for my young daughter and I. What I got was so much more than I had ever encountered before.

Susan Fullerton and her great staff of dedicated employees enabled me to make this long distance transition with the greatest of ease during the Christmas holidays no less! They did this by ensuring that my apartment was not only clean and ready for immediate unpacking but by consulting me on the décor as well. When I arrived in Saint John with the moving van in tow many homey touches were waiting for me, such as a beautiful plant, essential grocery items as well as additional cleaning and paper products.

This far surpassed any customer loyalty program that I knew of at the time and was really based on genuine kindness for a new comer to this community. You would think that once I was settled in to my new life all this would simply come to an end. Well, I was about to find out that Susan Fullerton and her company took welcoming new residents to new heights.

She and her capable staff offered their continued support by recommending doctors, dentists, banking institutions, hairdressers, restaurants and great shopping places. Everything I needed to make Saint John my new home was offered to me without having to go through that tedious trial and error phase.

And now two years later what started as a simple business transaction has grown into friendship. Beyond the excellent maintenance services offered by Susan and her staff in these exquisite heritage homes, I enjoy the continued support and my very own cheer leading section for my accomplishments and success. Thank you for the wonderful accommodation in the heart of downtown Saint John. I really think that you should work to get some of the architectural magazines to come and view the effort put in by your team.

The apartment that I had was bright and chipper and exceeded all of my expectations.

But I must say that the hospitality at Chipman Hill was what I shall truly remember. As a consultant, I tend to arrive in a city at a moment’s notice and leave in the same fashion. In this case, I came to your office on a Tuesday announcing my departure on the Thursday. As I had a lease, I was expecting problems, BUT, you assured me not to be concerned and were able to have my apartment re-leased. WHAT SERVICE…WHAT GOING THE EXTRA STEP.

I will remember the little niceties…arriving home and finding lobster sandwiches in the fridge…the little candies on my pillow when the suite was cleaned. When my wife visited Saint John you gave her a tour of Chipman Hill and offered excellent suggestions for supper.

Being away from your family is always difficult. You were able to make an apartment in a strange city into a home for me.

We absolutely want to commend Rose for helping us in anyway she could to make our stay at 38 Cliff Street a pleasurable one. If we required any assistance at all with the apartment, Rose was right there for us. Thanks again, it was such a big change for us coming here from Vancouver.
